Trillium Lake Sunrise

Most parents would be lucky to get their kids out snowshoeing at all. I asked Logan if he would be up for getting up at 3am to drive to Mt Hood and snowshoe in the dark to Trillium Lake to catch the sunrise.... and he said yes! I am lucky to have such a great son. It was good time and I am sure we will do it again. Very nice and peaceful before the masses come in on a sunny weekend day. Photo taken just as the morning alpine glow started grazing Mt Hood.
